Jennifer Lopez reveals she made the first move on A-Rod

Jennifer Lopez revealed some interesting details about her new romance with baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

The couple were first spotted looking cozy back in March, and have moved things to the next level by wearing matching outfits, and *gasp* - holding hands in public. 

Jennifer stopped by 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' this week and recalled - reluctantly, we might add - how their relationship began.

J.Lo told Ellen she spotted A-Rod while having lunch at a restaurant in LA. 

"I saw him walk by, and afterwards I went outside, but for some reason I felt like tapping him on the shoulder and saying hi," she said. 

Alex discovered they were both living in the same city, and suggested they hangout some time.

The couple actually met back in 2005 when Jennifer and her then husband, Marc Anthony, went to a New York Yankees game. The trio took a picture together!

Fast-forward to 2017 when Alex texted J.Lo to ask her out on a date after she boldly tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. 

And the rest is history. 

Jennifer says Alex is a "great guy", and the perfect "gentleman".
