The coronavirus has affected a lot of things. Many countries have banned mass gatherings to ensure people are not put at risk of contracting the virus.

One wedding scheduled to take place soon is that of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. The two got engaged in March 2019 and were supposed to get married soon.

But, judging from the comments made by Ellen DeGeneres when she hosted JLo on her show recently, the wedding has had to be postponed.

"I assume this whole quarantine and everything is affecting the wedding date because I am sure you were about to get married any day now and now you can't," Ellene told JLo.

"Actually it did affect it a little bit. So, we will see what happens now. Honestly, I really don't know what's gonna happen now as far as dates or anything like that," JLo said.

She added that the wedding is on pause until they see how the coronavirus is dealt with in a few months.

"We are just kind of like in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again it is just something you just have to wait and see in a few months how this all turns out," she said.

Ellen suggested that the two of them have their wedding in the house and broadcast it using social media such as Tik Tok and Instagram.

"Do a Tik Tok wedding? It's something to think about," Jennifer responded.
