Despite working as a civil servant, Thapelo has now turned into an entrepreneur.

The singer is selling atchaar and eggs from the boot of his car.

He took to his social media pages to advertise his business, saying he personally delivers to his customers.

He also used the post to encourage the youth to create their own jobs.

"Artchar le Mae [and eggs] guys around Tembisa and Kempton Park and PTA call me will bring for u . #hustle#youthempowerment #CreateYourOwnJob,"  he wrote on Twitter.

In an interview with Times Live, he assured his followers that he isn't broke, but is doing the side hustle as motivation to the youth.

“I'm not broke. I'm just trying to impact people's lives. I invested the cash prize in a home for my family. I needed to get myself involved in a small project. Me selling eggs and atchaar is motivation for the youth and musicians to create employment for themselves instead of waiting for it. Creating employment for ourselves does not require you to think too big. With R500 you can buy a box of eggs, get profit and build from that,” he told TshisaLIVE.
