Holly Marie Combs slams new 'Charmed' reboot

Holly Marie Combs is not impressed with the latest 'Charmed' reboot casting news.

New details have emerged about what fans of the hit TV show 'Charmed' can expect in the upcoming reboot.

TV Line revealed this week that the new version will see Piper, Phoebe, Paige, and Prue making way for new witches,  science nerd Macy, controlling Mel, and athletic college student Madison Pruit. 

The sisters discover they have powers, and so begins their bewitching tale. 

Macy has the power of telekinesis, Mel can freeze time, while Madison can hear people's thoughts.

The "fierce, funny, feminist reboot" has been given an LGBT twist.

Mel, a “strong-willed feminist”, will date a female detective in the reboot. 

Holly Marie Combs, who played Piper Halliwell on the original show, does not seem impressed with the new casting news.

"I have no words....... I mean I have a lot of words but at this juncture... sure......  yeah  ......... We Wish Them Well  .............." she tweeted. 

Holly is not a fan of the sisters' names all starting with an "M". 

"It’s official. They really have never watched it," she said about the reboot. 

The original 'Charmed' series also starred Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty, and Rose McGowan. 

The 'Charmed' reboot will reportedly be written by 'Jane the Virgin' writers Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin. 

Casting for the characters is still underway, and he characters names could change.
