Why you should follow him: He is always posting great images of himself from halfway around the world, amazing artwork for his singles and great family photos. His annual list of “top 10 verses of the year” is also something to look forward to.

Why you should follow him: J'Something is the very embodiment of cool. If he is not on stage jamming, he is posting selfies of himself with fans and his band. Inspiring images that he captures on tour and the occasional showcase of just how good a cook he is.

Why you should follow her: She is addicted to selfies but in the best way possible. She is often snapping images with her eclectic mixture of friends which include jazz legend Hugh Masekela, and will no doubt add a touch of class to your insta feed. She is also good at posting funny memes and tweets she finds online.

Why you should follow him: His Instagram account is a great insight into what goes into the day-to-day of being a hip-hop superstar. If he is not shooting magazine covers he is on the road to his next big show. You can also get a look at some videos of funny fan interactions. He is also a good at highlighting new music or club bangers that you didn’t even know were out yet.

Why you should follow her: The former Bongo Maffin vocalist does not post a lot, but her posts are worth the wait. Her crazy cool hairstyles often make their debut on her Instagram. She is also great at dispatching knowledge about great new books, landmarks she has visited and African music history.
