'Fast': Demi Lovato releases first pop single in years
Updated | By Music Reporter
Pop Demi Lovato is back! Fans celebrate the release of the singer's new pop single.

American musician Demi Lovato has debuted her highly anticipated single, 'Fast', after teasing her new project for nearly three weeks.
"I’m not so sure, I’ve ever felt like this before," she captioned a picture on July 10.
Before sharing the post, Lovato archived her Instagram pictures and videos, including the ones she shared of her recent wedding.
The 32-year-old married singer-songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in an intimate ceremony in May at a luxury estate in Santa Barbara, California.
Lovato shared several other videos and pictures, including one showing her working in a recording studio with producer Zhone.
"Cause baby, honestly/ I just wanna feel your hands all over me/ Right where they wanna be/ Even if it's only for tonight," she sang in one clip.
Zhone has worked with Charli XCX, Kesha, Kylie Minogue and South African-born Australian singer Troye Sivan.
Rolling Stone magazine described Lovato's new music project as a “celebratory dance-pop album”.
“She is such a master in the studio. This album is about letting inhibitions go, and we had so much fun making this music! It really comes across throughout," Zhone told the publication.
Lovato's latest music is a far cry from the pop-rock music she has been making over the last few years. 'Fast' has a catchy chorus that DJs in America and Europe will go gaga over.
"I wanna go/I wanna go fast, I wanna go hard/ I wanna go anywhere, anywhere you are/ No matter how close, no matter how far/I wanna go anywhere, anywhere you are," see sings.
Lovato's fans are ready to take to the dance floor after listening to the single.
"I love how Demi reinvents her sound with every new era. This EDM sound suits her so well. My neighbours will be getting a seizure with this one," a YouTuber commented.
Another YouTuber wrote: Pop Demi is BACK!"
A third said: The song's name is FAST and the video is her walking SLOWLY. She's iconic."
Universal Music says the single is the "first taste of what fans can expect from her forthcoming ninth studio album".
