TV personality Minnie Dlamini and her wedding planner Mizana Qata were reportedly at loggerheads over a R500,000 wedding bill.

Minnie married her prince Quinton Jones in a fairy tale wedding in Cape Town last month, and Mizana was on hand to make sure the day went smoothly.

Minnie's big day made national headlines, and it seems the sports presenter expected the media attention to serve as payment for a hefty bill from her planner.

According to the Sunday World, Minnie told Mizana that her services would be paid for via exposure. The 27-year-old allegedly told the Wellseated planner that the exposure would be the equivalent of R6-million.

But Mizana allegedly disputed that this was the case, and demanded Mrs Jones cough up the money.

The paper claims the planner even went as far as to approach MultiChoice, which owns the broadcast rights to Minnie's wedding, for help.

But the company was not involved in organising the wedding, and was not responsible for the bill.

The Sunday World claims, however, that MultiChoice executive Nkateko Mabaso summoned Minnie to a meeting to discuss the matter.

Minnie allegedly could not produce a contract stating that Mizana agreed to be paid with exposure, and the publication claims Nkateko then advised her to pay her planner.

Minnie and her husband reportedly managed to get the bill dropped to R300,000.

When contacted for comment, Mizana's lawyers told the paper the matter had been resolved, and their client accepted a settlement offer from the star.

Minnie's PR team described the allegations as "false and misleading".
