DJ Zinhle and AKA have come a long way since their messy break-up in 2015.

It's been nearly three years since DJ Zinhle dropped the bombshell that AKA was cheating on her with Bonang Matheba.

Since then, we have witnessed AKA calling Zinhle a liar (when he denied the affair), throwing shade at her on social media (he called her petty for wearing one of DJ Euphonik's #Nonke T-shirts), and implying that she was spending more time with his mother because she did not have a good relationship with her family.

But that's all water under the bridge now. Not only is the former couple co-parenting their daughter Kairo without any drama, but they even seem to be getting along - so much so that Zinhle was pictured wearing a T-shirt with AKA's face on it.

Zinhle attended an event in Sandton, Johannesburg, today wearing the T-shirt, which also features Kairo's face.

But don't expect the former lovers to have a romantic reunion anytime soon.

During an interview with Azania on 'Real Talk' last week, Zinhle made it very clear that there is zero chance of that happening.

“One thing South Africans are not short of is hope… We had this conversation, me and him recently, and we just decided, let’s start a new conversation about co-parenting, a positive conversation and let people look at us and think it’s possible to do this co-parenting thing and get along. It is something we are now working towards. We just want to get along and be there for each other,” Zinhle said.

AKA has also been spotted wearing the T-shirt, which is part of the merchandise for his new album, 'Touch My Blood'.

During an interview with East Coast Drive's Bongani Mtolo, AKA admitted he still loves Zinhle.

"That is the mother of my child," he said.

As for whether they will ever get back together, the rapper had this to say: "I can't tell the future, I'm not a psychic."
