Busisiwe "Cici" Twala has taken to Instagram to seemingly address the drama surrounding her relationship with Arthur Mafokate.

The singer shared a picture of her post-operation scar with the caption, "pelvic replacement op #breakthesilence".

She posted the graphic image on Saturday, several days after she opened a case of assault against Arthur, who according to police statements is her boyfriend.

Cici claims the 999 Music boss assaulted her earlier this month following an argument.

The Sunday World reports that Arthur allegedly got into his car during the altercation and drove off with Cici still holding onto the door.

"He dragged me on the street. I fell and got injured on the left side of my body," the publication quotes her as saying in her police statement.

Arthur, who was arrested and spent a night in jail after the incident, says he was unaware that Cici was still holding onto the door when he drove off.

He denies that he is a woman abuser, and has vowed to fight the "baseless" charges against him.

Arthur has reportedly opened a counter charge of common assault against Cici, with police telling the publication he claims she assaulted him with chairs and tables.

Cici underwent surgery last week, and says the operation was a success.

"I hope to walk again," she said on Instagram.

While Cici did not mention Arthur's name when posting pictures about her operation, many believe her "break the silence" hashtag is in reference to the altercation.
