Baby giggles at skateboard crash
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Babies find humour in all sorts of things, and for this baby, a skateboard crash was a very hilarious affair.
Remember that time you witnessed your friend fall and you couldn’t help but laugh? You may blame it on the evil side of the brain, but it seems it’s just in our nature to sometimes laugh at other people’s misfortunes. This is because, as described by a Reddit user recently, ‘genuine laughter at other's misfortune, especially if it involves falling down, seems to be innate rather than a learned response.’
The comment comes after a parent posted a video on the website showing his kid giggling at a collision between a skateboarder and a scooter. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
This prompted other parents to share their babies using ‘evil’ laughs to react to situations. See some of the hilarious responses below. They will leave you without a straight face.

Hoticewater: "Story time: I took a nasty spill into a pool last summer. It was at my SO's family's pool. Her whole family was there. I unknowingly stepped on the plastic drain cover and it broke, causing my foot to fall in the drain. I lost my balance but had a bit of leverage on the bottom of the drain so I tried to keep myself from falling in (fully clothed). It didn't work and essentially just made everything look like it was in slow motion. I found out after the fact that all of the adults were certain I had broken my ankle. Anyway, I didn't, I just fell very awkwardly in the pool (and did cut my foot pretty seriously). Anyyyyyway, when I surfaced after falling in all I could hear was silence ...silence, and my SO's 4 year old nephew laughing his a** off. He thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. Little man went up a lot of notches in my book that day."
SpaceDuckyGoesQuark: "My son laughed at Mufasa getting thrown off the cliff in The Lion King while I just sat there tearing up again. Babies are evil."
