'Tomb Raider' star Angelina Jolie is feeling the strain of constantly being under the media spotlight.

So much so that the Oscar winner plans to eventually leave Hollywood. Like many A-list stars, Angelina is currently based in Los Angeles.

She reportedly owns a $25-million mansion in the area. The 'City of Angels' is home to some of the world's biggest paparazzi agencies, which means every move she makes becomes tabloid fodder.

Angelina told Wall Street Journal Magazine that things intensified following her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016.

"I’ve just been around so long and there’s been everything said... It’s part of what happened after my divorce. I lost the ability to live and travel as freely. I will move when I can," Variety quoted her as saying.

The 48-year-old revealed that she doesn't cope well with stress.

"My body reacts very strongly to stress. My blood sugar goes up and down. I suddenly had Bell’s palsy six months before my divorce.”

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, "Bell's palsy is an unexplained episode of facial muscle weakness or paralysis".

Angelina hopes to spend more time in Cambodia when she eventually does leave Hollywood.

Elsewhere in the interview, the humanitarian admitted that she "wouldn't be an actress" if she started her career today.

"When I was starting out, it wasn’t as much of an expectation to be as public, to share so much.”

Angelina practically grew up in Hollywood. She is the daughter of 'Anaconda' actor Jon Voight. The 84-year-old also played her father in 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider'.

Angelina's mother Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away in 2007, was also an actress.

"I grew up in quite a shallow place. Of all the places in the world, Hollywood is not a healthy place. So you seek authenticity," she told WSJ.
