Local celebrities make their mark

Selfies may be banned at voting stations today, but that
hasn’t stopped South Africans from sharing their “thumbfies”- pictures of their
marked thumbs after voting – all over social media. And it’s not just ordinary South Africans who are excited
about making – and sharing – their mark. Local celebs have also taken to Twitter to show #iVoted
Advocate Thuli Madonsela encouraged the youth of South Africa to vote. She said she voted to strengthen democracy.
