The ANC's Beza Ntshona has questioned the conduct of the IEC, saying there is evidence of bias by presiding officers.

He also blamed DA agents for being directly involved in the conduct of elections.

Ntshona says the party believes there is evidence showing an attempt to manipulate the outcome of the vote.

"There were number of missing ballot boxes from voting stations and many boxes were transported without adequate security or control.

"The control of ballot boxes has clearly been inadequate allowing extensive tampering to take place.

"Ballot boxes with marked votes are being found in various communities in the metro, the majority containing ANC votes," he said.
