Chairperson for the EFF Student Command at the Durban University of Technology has confirmed that striking DUT students will be supporting their fellow student in court later today.

The student was arrested on Tuesday after protests turned violent.
Gazuzu Ntuli says students will also shut down all DUT campuses when they re-open today after being closed for the past two days.
"We want to make sure we go to court as he will be appearing to show support. He will be at the Durban Central [Magistrates] Court, Yes we are going there definitely," he said.
Students have been striking since Monday over issues around student funding.
Yesterday, a group of about 200 students made their way to the Coastlands Hotel in Musgrave -shutting down operations at the business- where DUT management, SRC, NSFAS officials and officials from the Department of Higher Education were having a meeting.
Police had to use tear gas to disperse them.
According to Ntuli, they went to the hotel because they were tipped of that the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande would be present at the discussions.
