SACP welcomes SCA decision in the parole application of Hani murderer Janusz Walus
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The SA Communist Party has welcomed the Supreme Court of Appeal's decision to grant Justice Minister Michael Masutha leave to appeal in the parole application of Janusz Walus.

The party says Walus, who's serving time for the 1993 murder of Chris Hani, will remain behind bars until the appeal process is concluded.
The SACP said in a statement yesterday that Walus remains an unrepentant and un-rehabilitated murderer.
The North Gauteng High Court in March ordered that Walus must be released from prison on parole within 14 days.
