Folk-pop meets pop-metal! Ed Sheeran and The Darkness are the collab you didn't know you needed...
British rock band The Darkness surprised their fans at a recent show by bringing out Ed Sheeran on stage.
Ed opened for the band during their show at The Roundhouse in London. The 32-year-old performed six songs during his warm-up.
He sang 'Shape Of You', 'Bad Habits', 'Thinking Out Loud', and more. Ed also treated concertgoers to a rendition of 'No Diggity' by 90s R&B group Blackstreet.
He has performed the song at several of his shows in the past.

Ed revealed during his performance that he has always been a big fan of The Darkness. He bought one of their LPs when he was just 13 years old.
"The Darkness were one of my favorite bands growing up and it was always my dream as a kid to open up for them, so I’m living the dream," Ed said.
Another dream came true for the singer later in the show. He came out on stage again, this time to perform 'Love Is Only A Feeling' with The Darkness.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:
It's not the first time Ed has crossed paths with the band. The Darkness was one of the opening acts that performed during the UK leg of his 'Divide Tour' in 2019.
The band took to social media on Wednesday to share a video of their final rehearsal with Ed.
"A glimpse at our rehearsal backstage at The Roundhouse, Camden before Ed joined us on stage for a sublime rendition of Love Is Only a Feeling!"
Ed is no stranger to surprise collaborations. He has performed with artists such as Eminem, Wiley, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, and Beyoncé.
We can't wait to see who he works with next!
