Vanessa Williams has new music out, and it might just make you want to get up and dance.

The 61-year-old singer and actress has released a new song called, 'Legs (Keep Dancing)'. She also dropped the track's music video in April.

"Let me show these children…" Vanessa captioned a teaser clip from the video.

One fan replied: "Sometimes the children just need to be schooled!"

'Legs' is the first single released from Vanessa's upcoming ninth album, which is being produced by her own label, Mellian Music.

"Finally, my new music is coming out! Been 15 years since the last album, but the time is right. Get ready for the first single “LEGS”. Called my old team up who’ve been creating with me for years. Still here, still standing, still kicking in fact … about to give em hell again," she wrote earlier this month.

The reaction to Vanessa's new music has been positive. Her fans are impressed that she not only sounds good, but she looks amazing.

"Ok if this is 61 sign me up! I pray I still look this good then with the same energy. She is still beautiful as ever," one woman wrote on YouTube.

Another user added: "Auntie dancing and singing like she still in her 20’s really! I mean, you just out-danced AND out-sang your younger self!  WOW."

Vanessa says it has been a while since she released music and she is glad that people are loving her new song.

"So happy to have new music for all to move to. Thanks for the love, and keep dancing," she wrote on Instagram.

Vanessa has also been praised for her "empowering" lyrics.

They say the legs are the last to go
I'ma keep dancing
I'm still putting on the show
I'ma keep dancing
’Til I can’t do it no more
I go where they take me
'Cause the legs are the last thing, so
I’ma keep dancing

She also performed the 1995 classic, 'Colors of the Wind', for the 'Pocahontas' movie.

Vanessa has four children, including Jillian Hervey, who is also a singer and actress.

In February of this year, it was announced that Vanessa would play Miranda Priestly in a stage adaptation of the popular movie, 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

Meryl Streep played the role in the movie. Anne Hathaway starred as Andrea Sachs. Elton John wrote an original score for the production, which will premiere at the Dominion Theatre in London later this year.

"Bringing Miranda Priestly to life in the West End is an absolute dream come true. Gird your loins, folks," Vanessa said about the role.
