'Truth or Dare' - Tyla releases new music video

Tyla has released the highly anticipated music video for her new song, 'Truth Or Dare'. 

The video dropped on Friday, February 2. 

'Truth Or Dare' was one of three promotional songs Tyla released in December last year. She also debuted 'One and One' and 'Butterflies'.

All three songs are expected to appear on Tyla's debut self-titled studio album, which is due for release in March 2024.

Tyla, who gained international fame with her 2023 song, 'Water', told Apple Music's Zane Lowe that her album is her introduction to the world. 

"I just wanted to be clean, Tyla. I want people to get to know my name and get to know my sound because my first project is going to be Tyla in music form. So, I felt like self-titled would’ve been the best way to go," Bella Naija quoted her as saying.

'Truth or Dare' made it to #1 on the UK Afrobeats Chart and peaked at #4 on the US Afrobeats Chart. 

Since bursting onto the global music scene, Tyla has worked with stars such as Travis Scott, Marshmello, and Ayra Starr.

Tyla collaborated with Ayra on the song ''Girl Next Door'. Both singers are nominated for 'Best African Music Performance' at the 2024 Grammys.

Tyla's fans are hoping her new album will feature Chris Brown. The American singer was spotted at Tyla's birthday celebrations in Los Angeles this week. 

Tyla turned 22 years old on Tuesday, January 30.

It's not the first time she has been spotted with the 'Don't Wake Me Up' hitmaker.

Tyla was the opening act during the European leg of his 'Under The Influence' tour in 2023. She performed at his shows in Dublin, London, Birmingham, Zurich, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, Manchester, Glasgow, Frankfurt, and Oberhausen. 

"THANK YOU @tyla for an amazing tour! had so much fun with you and your crew. AMAZING PEOPLE. Take over the world shawty," Chris wrote on Instagram after the tour.

Tyla said she "had the best time" on tour with Chris. 

The 'Getting Late' singer is expected to reveal more details about her album in the coming weeks.
