Taylor Swift breaks record on Billboard 200 albums chart

Taylor Swift made history on the Billboard Top 10 by having four albums charting in the Top 10 simultaneously.

Taylor Swift continues to break records...

The multi-award-winning artist has just made chart history by having the most number one albums by a woman, according to Billboard

This makes Taylor the first woman in history with four albums charting in the Top 10 simultaneously, states NME

Her latest album, 'Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)', peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated July 22. The album was released on Friday, 7 July.

Billboard states that the album gave 'Swift her 12th No. 1, surpassing Barbra Streisand for the most No. 1 albums among women.'

The other three albums currently in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart are - 'Midnights', 'Lover', and 'Folklore'. 

The other artist who had several albums on the Billboard 200 simultaneously was Prince, following his death in 2016. He had five albums in the top 10 dated May 14, 2016. 

Swift is also the first artist ever to have four albums in the top 10 since musician Herb Alpert in 1966.
