Rihanna confirms third pregnancy in true Met Gala style
'Rihanna said the only album you guys are getting is a family album.'
Rihanna arrived at the 2025 Met Gala in New York with a special accessory - a baby bump!
The 'Umbrella' hitmaker announced her pregnancy on Monday night with a stylish appearance at fashion's biggest night.
Fans have speculated for weeks that the singer and businesswoman is expecting her third child with rapper A$AP Rocky.
A$AP Rocky, who Anna Wintour named one of this year's co-chairs, confirmed the baby news shortly before Rihanna arrived on the red carpet.
Reporters asked him what she would be wearing to the event.
"Whatever gonna cover up that baby bump," he teased.
The 'Fashion Killa' rapper told an Associated Press reporter it feels amazing to expect another family addition.
"It's time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I'm glad everybody's happy for us 'cause we definitely happy, you know."
The couple are also parents to RZA Athelson, who turns three in May, and 21-month-old Riot Rose.
Before her grand appearance, photographers snapped Rihanna heading to her hotel to change for the event.
Her baby bump was clearly visible.
Rihanna was among the last stars to arrive on the red carpet, and it was well worth the wait.
Her custom Marc Jacobs outfit nailed the 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' theme.
The 37-year-old wore a cropped blazer, a bustier bodysuit and a skirt that resembled a suit jacket.
She completed the look with a polka dot satin cravat and a dramatic hat.
Rihanna's fans joked that they can forget about getting new music from the star for a while.
"The only album we're getting from her is a family album," an Instagram user commented on a post shared by Vogue magazine.
Fans have been waiting for her new album, which they are calling 'R9', to drop for years. The last time the Barbados beauty released an album was 2016's 'ANTI'.
They will have to wait a bit longer!
"She's gonna have more children than albums at this point😭," an Instagram user joked.
