Billboard says it is thrilled to be celebrating Olivia's "unique" voice.
The year 2022 is shaping up to be a pretty good one for Olivia Rodrigo.
Not only is the 18-year-old up for seven awards at this year's Grammy Awards, but she has also just been named Billboard's 'Woman of the Year'.
The prestigious honour has been given to artists Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Madonna, Katy Perry, Cardi B, Beyonce, and Selena Gomez.
Olivia will receive the award at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards in March.
"Olivia’s trajectory to superstardom is the stuff of pop music legend. Her talents as a storyteller and songwriter have made Olivia one of the most authentic and exciting new artists to explode onto the scene in years... We are thrilled to celebrate her unique voice," Billboard’s Editorial Director, Hannah Karp, said in a statement.
