Listen to Taylor Swift's new 'Cats' song 'Beautiful Ghosts'
Taylor Swift just dropped a new song from the 'Cats' musical soundtrack.
You know it is going to be a good day when Taylor Swift releases new music.
The 29-year-old dropped her new song , 'Beautiful Ghost', and its lyric video.
The track features on the upcoming film adaptation of the 'Cats' musical. Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Idris Elba, and Judi Dench star in the film.
Taylor also makes an appearance as a character named 'Bombalurina'.
She wrote 'Beautiful Ghost' with Andrew Lloyd Webber - the man who composed the the original 'Cats' musical.
"There was an ambition and an aspiration to have an original song in the movie. Just very much this understanding of like, ‘Let’s write the best song we can'," Taylor said in a video about the making of the song.
'Cats' premieres in cinemas on December 20.

Meanwhile, Taylor also released the remix for her hit single, 'Lover', this week.
"Well guys it finally happened: WE DID A COLLABORASHAWN. Sending out a whole entire THANKS BUDDY to @shawnmendes rn -I’m so stoked that our remix of Lover is out NOW!" she wrote on Instagram.
