Clarkson said she didn't just want to sing only about the bad that happens in a relationship.

"I don't want just some sad I got divorced in my life sucks dumpster fire record," she wrote.

Kelly divorced her music manager Brandon Blackstock in 2020 after seven years of marriage.

She says her upcoming album, 'Chemistry', will talk about the highs and lows of a relationship.

"I wanted it to be about the whole relationship because one thing I have learned in a lot of therapy is it's not about just the bad, right, it was a whole thing, it doesn't mean everything is bad," she said during the show.

'Favorite Kind of High' is about meeting a love interest.

"There is nothing like that high like when you see someone and you are like oh sh*t you know and you are like, 'I wonder if they are single'," she said.
