Katy Perry's recent residency show in Las Vegas featured a very special guest. The 'Roar' singer invited nine-year-old North West onstage to participate in a dance-off.

North is the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye 'Ye' West. Kim was pictured in the audience capturing every second of her daughter's onstage moment.

Katy also allowed North to bring out some of her friends - including Selena Gomez's sister Gracie Teefey. The 38-year-old then joined them in a dance-off and even did the splits at one point.

Kim's niece Penelope - the daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick - was also spotted in the audience but did not join North onstage.

The SKIMS founder pulled out all of the stops for North and Penelope's trip to Vegas. They flew to sin 'Sin City' in her private plane - which she calls, 'Kim Air'.

The 18-seater private jet reportedly costs a whopping $150-million (R2.7-billion) and is said to cost more than Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos' planes.

Kim treated North, Penelope, and their friends to Katy Perry-themed mocktails on the plane. The mocktails were garnished with pink candy floss.

They took a party bus to the show and also got to hang out with Katy backstage after the show.

"Honestly, I’m the biggest Katy Perry fan. I’m not just saying that because you’re here," Kim told the 'Roar' singer.

Kim's friends, Paris Hilton and singer Sia, were also seen backstage with the group.

Katy Perry Las Vegas Residency

Katy's Las Vegas 'PLAY' residency kicked off in December 2021. She has performed at 50 shows since then. The 'California Gurls' hitmaker recently announced the dates for her final 10 shows.

"The last 50 shows in Vegas have just flown by! It’s bittersweet to announce the FINAL 10 shows of ‘PLAY’ ever, but I am so excited to continue bringing this larger than life spectacle through my last date on Nov. 4,” she said in a statement, according to Yahoo!.

Katy is hoping to go on tour after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency. The last time she went on the road was 2018.

But her tour will not be as elaborate as her Vegas show.

"I'm just so proud of the show that we created and put on. It is such a spectacular show that we love so much. It's almost like the greatest hits show! I call it all thriller, no filler. I wish I could bring it to the rest of the world, but it's just not technically possible to cart around OTT toilets and bathtubs," the 'American Idol' judge told Out in an interview.

Katy's fans will get to see her performing at King Charles' coronation next month. She was announced as one of the performers last week.

Katy - who has previously met King Charles - is an ambassador for the British Asian Trust.

Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, and Take That will also be making an appearance.
