Holly Rey on 'Masked Singer SA' win: 'I had the time of my life'
And the 'Lollipop' is... Holly Rey!
Holly Rey was the last person standing - or in this case, the last 'Lollipop' standing - when the winner of 'The Masked Singer SA' was announced a few days ago.
She was unmasked during Saturday's finale.
"Our girl Lollipop just bagged the Golden Mask Trophy, and it’s none other than the gorgeous, the ‘sweet’, the insanely talented @hollyreymusic!" 'The Masked Singer SA' wrote on its official Instagram page.
Before the big reveal, the judges guessed that the singer under the mask was Sho Madjozi or Charlize Theron. Fans of the show thought it might be Tamara Dey or Sophie Ndaba.

Holly is excited about winning the first-ever season of the show.
"I had the time of my life doing this, it was like being a kid the whole time," she said after her win.
Not only did the 'Ngiyazifela' singer walk away with the golden trophy but she also drove off with a brand new Mercedes-Benz.
"A Merc Bae. A lollipop and her new Mercedes Benz GLC. So excited to be joining the @mercedesbenzsafam!!" she wrote on Instagram.

Holly was one of 16 local celebrities who participated in the singing competition. Each contestant wears a costume and mask that hides their identity.
The judges, Somizi Mhlongo, MiCasa's J'Something, Sithelo Shozi, and Skhumba Hlophe, had to guess who they were based on their voices and a few clues.
Holly beat Maps Maponyane (Tree), Abdul Khoza (Lion), and Kurt Darren (Rhino), in the final showdown.
Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi was unmasked as the 'Robot' in July.
"Being on the show made me realise that I am truly capable of becoming a singer because as much as I love music, I always had a fear of how I would translate on stage or how I’d be received by people,” Zozibini told the Sowetan.
Rugby star Victor Matfield (Rooster), football icon Doctor Khumalo (Soccer Ball), and politician Mmusi Maimane (Warrior) were some of the other celebrities unmasked on the show.
