Doja Cat was a big winner at the 2020 American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday night.

The 25-year-old singer won 'New Artist of the Year', beating rapper Meg Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Lewis Capaldi.

Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, is the daughter of former 'Yizo Yizo' actor Dumisani Dlamini. Her mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, is a Jewish-American painter.

The 'Say So' hitmaker also won in the 'Favourite Female Artist (Soul/R&B)' category.

Other winners on the night include The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, BTS, Nicki Minaj, Harry Styles, Cardi B, and Dua Lipa.

Jennifer Lopez stole the show on the night thanks to her sexy performance with Colombian singer, Maluma.

But social media users accused the singers of copying Beyonce's 'Drunk in Love' performance at the 2014 Grammys.
