Beyoncé Knowles has paid tribute to the late Rock 'n Roll legend, Tina Turner.

During her Renaissance show in Paris over the weekend, Beyoncé shared a special message about the late icon.

“I just want to take a second and honour Tina Turner,” Beyoncé said to the crowd at the Stade de France.

The Grammy winner spoke about how Tina has played a role in her career.

“If you’re a fan of mine, you’re a fan of Tina Turner. I wouldn’t be on this stage without Tina Turner," she said.

The 'Break My Soul' hitmaker asked her audience to scream in honour of the 'What's Love Got To Do With It' hitmaker.

"So I want you guys to just scream, so she can feel your love," she told her audience.

She praised Tina for being an incredible woman.

"I feel so blessed that I was allowed to witness her brilliance.”

This is not the first time Beyoncé has talked about how Tina has been inspirational in her life.

“Every now and then, when I think of inspiration, I think of the two Tinas in my life — that’s my mother, Tina, and of course, the amazing Tina Turner," she said at the Kennedy Center Awards in 2005.

Tina, whose real name is Anna Mae Bullock, passed away on 24 May at the age of 83.

The phenomenal singer rose to fame in the early 1960s. To date, she has sold nearly 200-million records and won eight Grammys.

She reportedly died of natural causes.

According to the family representative, her family will have "a private funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family."
