Beyoncé's new album ‘Renaissance’ reaches No. 1 on Billboard 200

Additionally, the record is the first female-released album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 in 2022.

Queen B's latest album, ‘Renaissance’, has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. 

This is according to a report by Billboard for the album chart dated August 13. 

The studio album also made history by becoming the first album released by a woman to debut at #1 on the chart in 2022. 

Last week, Spotify announced that ‘Renaissance’ is the most streamed album in a single day by a female artist so far this year.

The news comes days after the album's release party which took place on Friday. The party was attended by the likes of Lala Anthony, Janelle Monae, and Tina Knowles. 

Beyonce has thanked her fans for their support and promised to continue releasing the best music. 

"Thank you for your unwavering support. I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy," she wrote on her website. 

She also shared how making the album was therapeutic for her. 

 "Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world," Beyonce on her website.

'Renaissance' is Beyoncé’s seventh album, and her first solo studio release since 2016. 

It was released on July 29.
