Rihanna makes history on Spotify

Rihanna has made history by becoming the first female artist to have ten songs reach one-billion streams on Spotify.

Rihanna is one of the most successful artists in the world. 

The superstar keeps winning! She has just added another accolade to her long list of achievements. 

She took to Instagram to share that she made history on Spotify

Rihanna has become the first female artist to have ten songs reach one-billion streams. This was announced on July 1 by the music streaming platform. 

"Bad Gal billi …wit no new album," she wrote on Instagram.

The last time Rihanna released an album was in 2016 with 'Anti'. 

Following that release, she featured on several projects. 

The 35-year-old recently released 'Born Again' and 'Lift Me Up', which were featured on the 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' soundtrack. 

'Lift Me Up' was nominated for 'Best Original Song' at the 95th Academy Awards and 'Best Original Song' at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.

Apart from that, Rihanna also worked with PartyNextDoor on the single 'Believe'. 

She also featured on 'Lemon' by N.E.R.D, 'Selfish' by Future, 'Wild Thoughts' by DJ Khaled, and 'Loyalty' by Kendrick Lamar.
