1 teaspoon jeera powder
1 teaspoon gharahm masala
1/4 teaspoon tumric powder
2 tablespoons ginger and garlic crushed
Briyani mix spices
Briyani dhall
Salt
Onions
Potatoes
Curry leafs

Method

Cube meat into preferred portions

Wash and marinade with spice, ginger, and garlic (overnight if possible as the flavour soaks in)

Boil breyani dhall

Boil rice

Deep fry potatoes

Heat half cup of cooking oil on low temperature. Add onions, briyani mix, and curry leafs until onions are golden brown. Add marinated meat, two cups of water, and allow to cook for half an hour. Add more water if lamb is cooked halfway through.

While the lamb is cooking, slice potatoes in quarters and deep fry. The water level should be dropping in the briyani turn temperature to medium, add boiled briyani dhall, fried potatoes, and gently mix gradually. Add cooked rice and mix gently. Place pot in preheated oven and simmer at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Garnish with fried onions chopped dhania.

Serve with Dhall and Carrot Salad or sour milk salad.
