The retail giants have finally released their Black Friday deals and they are competing to give their customers the best discounts.

This Black Friday, major food retailers are offering great deals that can save you hundreds of Rands on your groceries.

Checkers have released their one-day Black Friday catalogue.

You get to save up to 60% on food items.

Some of the big discounts include Jacobs coffee (3 for R99), R50 for two bottles of Oros, and big discounts on meat such as R89 per kg for lamb.

The Shoprite sale runs for today only. Stock up on Ultra Mel custard to enjoy until the Christmas season. The 1-litre custard is only R18 and you save R10.

The retail giant is also selling 2l Oros for just R25. 

If you have a little one, you can get any two Pampers disposable nappies for R220, saving R170.

Shoprite is also running a special on 2kg Omo hand washing liquid for only R35 each.

Pick ‘n Pay opened its doors at 6am just for today.

You can get two 2-litre Spar Letta cold drinks for only R20.

Head to Pick n’ Pay to buy lots of meat for those delicious meals you will be cooking for your family this Festive. Stewing beef is only R59.99 per kg.

2kg rice is R38 for two. Pick n’ Pay 2kg white sugar is R30,99.

Sasko 2,5kg wheat flour is R15 and cleaning detergents like Domestos are only R18,99 and Sunlight Dishwashing liquid for R17,99.
