Getting to know the Constitution better on its 24th anniversary
Updated | By Sponsored
10 December 2020 marks 24 years since the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa was signed into law in Sharpeville, Vereeniging, by President Nelson Mandela.
Today is a proudly South African Day in our nation's history - our Constitution marks its 24th anniversary. Constitution Hill is celebrating by highlighting talented, young artists in our country. The constitution is the supreme law of the land.
In a press release from Constitutional Hill, it said:
To honour the countries constitutional journey over these 24 years, 27 limited-edition postcards that bear the words of the Preamble to the Constitution together with an illustration of each of the 27 rights protected in our Bill of Rights, were created by young illustrators. Created by; Sindiso Nyon, Balekane Legoabe, Nina Torr, Ndumiso Nyoni, Octavia Roodt, Zinhle Zulu, Khayalethu Mtshali.
