Death toll in KZN storm rises to 32

The death toll following torrential rains, and flooding across KwaZulu-Natal has risen to 32.

A massive search operation is currently underway near a school in Westcliff where rescuers have pulled the bodies of six people from the rubble so far.
It is understood that a landslide caused the home to collapse.
The bodies of a 17-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter were today recovered from under the rubble in the Bottlebrush area of Chatsworth.
In a separate incident in Malvern, seven bodies were found in a home in Ellen Road in Malvern, near Queensburgh.
While the collapse of a home near Westcliff Secondary School has claimed six lives - with two people being rushed to hospital.
The search for one more person continues.

KZN Cogta MEC, Nomusa Dube Ncube says the numbers are expected to rise as search operations are underway.
