In honour of what would have been Jim Morrison's birthday today, we look at four of his most successful songs with the band, The Doors.
Jim Morrison is one of the most famous rock singers who ever lived. He was born on 8 December 1943. Today would have been his 77th birthday.
The American singer, songwriter, and lead vocalist of the band The Doors will always be remembered for his unmatched sound and the ability to capture the mood of the youth with his music.
At the mere age of 27, the talented Morrison died in Paris from a heroin overdose. His death was one of the great tragedies of rock 'n roll. To this day, Morrison is still loved and celebrated by his fans.
As the lead vocalist of The Doors, Morrison's voice made us fall in-love with their music.
In honour of what would have been his 77th birthday, East Coast Gold will be celebrating this superstar by playing his biggest hits.

'Break on Through (To the Other Side)'
Another hit track that came from the album 'The Doors' was 'Break on Through (To the Other Side)'. It was released in 1967.
