The Rolling Stones are rumoured to be working on a new project. However, this will be a project like no other.

It will reportedly feature two legendary singers, the last living members of The Beatles -  Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

This was reported by several publications including Rolling Stone magazine.

The upcoming album will be produced by 2021 Grammy 'Producer of the Year' Andrew Watt.

Rumour has it that McCartney has already recorded bass parts for the album and Ringo will be playing the drums.

If the rumoured partnership is real, it won't be the first time The Rolling Stones have collaborated with Beatles members.

John Lennon, the late co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Beatles, sang backup on The Rolling Stones' 'We Love You' in 1967 alongside McCarthy.

Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones has also worked with The Beatles on the song, 'You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)'.
