Whitney Houston on Gold

Whitney Houston became an instant sensation becoming the first solo female artist to have seven consecutive number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Whitney’s classic debut changed her life overnight with her first number-one single “How Will I Know” topping the US Billboard Hot 100 chart just hours after release.

Whitney’s second number-one single “The Greatest Love of All” following a month later.

Whitney Houston’s music has touched young and old and she’s been cited as the most awarded female artist of all time by Guinness World Records.

Whitney died eight-years ago - almost to the day, in fact – it was the 11th of February 2012, but her music lives on and she will forever be known as one of the bestselling music artists with 200 million records sold worldwide.
