A wedding went viral over the weekend when powerful waves crashed over a sea wall at a resort on Hawaii’s Big Island and swept through the reception area.

The video of the entire moment was captured by wedding guest Kenneth Bergstrom. Watch below:
The bride, Riley Carson Murphy, commented after the wedding that the high tide "swept away half of the reception".
Regardless, Riley and her husband Dillon Murphy enjoyed their memorable night surrounded by the people they love.

“What would have been considered a disaster a day ago turned into a beautiful union of family and friends helping to rearrange our reception in the most perfect way,” said Carson Murphy.
It is wonderful to see that they were able to turn a negative into a positive and still have an amazing time.
