In a video that was posted to Reddit, a kayaker doing his normal route in the ocean came across a young boy who appeared to be stranded.
After the man in the kayak rescued the boy and brought him to dry land, they tried to call the boy's father.
The boy was scared and dealing with the whole thing left him in a state of shock.
Parents have a responsibility to look after their kids or at the very least, assign guardians to look out for them if they are not there.
In this situation, the parents or guardians were nowhere to be found.
