Mother cat loses babies, finds love in a strange place
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Gertrude the stray cat was attacked by wild dogs and left to fend for herself. Thankfully, she was rescued and taken to the vet by a local woman. But it's the events that happened at the vet that's got everyone talking.
She was rushed to Compassion Without Borders veterinary clinic. At the clinic, vets quickly discovered that Gertrude had been pregnant and that the attack cost her the babies.
But something amazing transpired at the vet which shocked the employees. You'd think that after Gertrude's incident with the wild dogs it would make her afraid of any dogs in general, but that was not the case.

Clementine, a little pup who arrived with other puppies at the clinic - but sadly they did not survive, found a motherly figure in Gertrude. The vets noticed that whenever Clementine was around she continued to meow and make chirping noises.
The vets decided to put the duo together, and what they noticed was nothing but pure love and happiness.
