SA has confirmed four cases of measles in Gauteng. The cases were identified in the last two weeks of May. Some of the signs include a cough, conjunctivitis, coryza, fever, fatigue, muscle pain, and rash. Currently all cases have been found in Gauteng and are under quarantine.

The SA National Taxi Council (Santaco) has distanced itself from having any involvement in the planning of a national shutdown on Friday or lobbying for other unions to become involved.
