East Coast Breakfast kicks off Mandela centenary birthday celebrations

July 18 marks the birthday of Tata Madiba, and to celebrate, East Coast Radio wants to give back to the future leaders of South Africa.
The Mandela Day centenary celebrations at East Coast Radio kicked off bright and early as the Breakfast Team pledged their allegiance during the national anthem.

A stand was set up in our studio reception area filled with pictures, books, and a candle to honour the memory of the late, great Nelson Mandela.

To mark this special day, East Coast Radio has teamed up with UKZN to mobilise the people of KZN to assist underfunded students to complete their studies by donating as little as R67 to the cause.
