Updated | By Shaun Ryan
The SA Weather Service says communities in north-eastern parts of KZN can expect significant rainfall from Friday - with tropical storm Dineo moving towards Mozambique.

Forecaster Aslam Sardiwalla says Dineo is expected to make landfall over Inhambane in southern Mozambique tomorrow afternoon.
The only weather alerts that have been issued to date are for parts of Mozambique.

Wind speeds in excess of 200 kilometres per hour are expected in the worst affected parts of that country should the storm intensify to a tropical cyclone.
Sardiwalla says the weather service will continue to monitor the storm's development - and will issue alerts for KZN if required.
