UKZN staffer tests positive for COVID-19

The University of KwaZulu-Natal has confirmed its first case of the coronavirus.
A staff member, who had been self-isolating since last Monday, began developing symptoms the next day.
Test results showed on Sunday, that she tested positive for COVID-19.
The varsity said in a statement that the staff member went into self-isolation at home as a precaution from March the 16th.

It says she was concerned about her potential exposure to the virus - after going to an event that delegates from Europe had attended in Johannesburg.
UKZN says the staff member hasn't been at work since the 12th of this month.
Management says no other employees or students have been in contact with the woman.
