South Africa's COVID-19 death toll increases by 7

South Africa's confirmed COVID-19 cases has now gone up to 7 220.

The number of the virus-related deaths has also increased to 138 nationally. 


Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, shared the latest developments saying the Western Cape is still the epicentre with the highest number cases in the country at 3 362 and the most deaths at 64. 


Gauteng still has the second-highest number of cases at 1 661 followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 1 106 confirmed cases.
