Schools in KZN Midlands get e-learning boost

Fifty rural schools in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands are set to benefit from the technological tools to accelerate e-learning.

Premier Sihle Zikalala unveiled a Maths and Science development programme at Ubulinga Secondary School in Bergville on Tuesday.
Each school will 40 devices to host educational and digital content.

Zikalala says this will help prepare high school learners for the fourth industrial revolution.
"E-learning is about ensuring that learners start to learn and to know how to use computers and technology. We want to ensure that whilst we encourage access to education, it is quality education," says Zikalala.
