Ramaphosa to visit COVID-19 facilities in KZN today

President Cyril Ramaphosa is today expected to visit COVID-19 facilities in KwaZulu-Natal.
This is to assess the province’s progress being made to flatten the curve.
Accompanied by Premier Sihle Zikalala, the President will visit the Archie Gumede House in Mayville, then the Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Memorial Hospital in KwaMashu.
"He will engage with the Provincial Government and stakeholders on the province's response strategies and progress being made to flatten the curve of the coronavirus pandemic," a statement from the presidency read.
Ramaphosa is also expected to do a walkabout at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg which has been designated as a quarantine facility.
To date, KZN has 1 106 Coronavirus cases, with 35 deaths recorded.
