Pray, urges Mogoeng as courts gear up for coronavirus
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Mogoeng was briefing the media on Tuesday in Midrand on measures that will be taken by courts to prevent the spread of the virus.

"We are exposed, we are not protected and my call is to all those who can pray to see it as an absolute necessity to do so, starting from today.”
Mogoeng said while there is no need at this stage to shut down courts, preventative measures will be put into place.
"Decontamination of reception and admission areas, community service centers, courtrooms, cells and detention facilities, offices, lifts, vehicles, biometrics and all other objects that are touched by persons using the facilities."

He said there will be a special focus on maintenance, domestic violence, and children's courts, which will be disinfected at least twice a day during working hours.
Mogoeng said they expect the funds to implement all these measures including making sure that all courts have running water, toilet paper, disinfectants, masks, gloves, and sanitizer provided by the government.
