PMB City Hall shut after COVID-19 case

Citizens of Msunduzi are being cautioned to stay away from the town's City Hall following a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Municipal spokesperson, Thobeka Mafumbatha says they have decided to shut the City Hall for today and have begun tracing and testing all those who may have had contact with the employee.

"One of the employees at City Hall tested positive for COVID-19. Subsequently, City Hall has been closed to members of the public, including the workers.
"All the people that were in contact have been contacted, and those that have symptoms or suspected will be isolated," she says.
