Over 12 000 COVID-19 deaths recorded in South Africa

Another 282 coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in South Africa in the last 24 hours.
KwaZulu-Natal reported 57 of those fatalities, taking the national death toll to 12 264.
After 3 430 347 tests to date, South Africa's confirmed over 592 144 positive cases of COVID-19.

It's an increase of around 2 200 new infections.
The reassuring fact is that our recovery rate's moved up to 82% - which means that more than 485 000 people have beat the virus.
Locally, KZN's recorded over 106 000 cases, 80 684 recoveries and 1 743 deaths.
