Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma says they're making a travel exception for those returning to work in provinces away from home.
"There will be a once-off allowance for people to move from the provinces they are in, to the provinces that they are going to be working in," says Dlamini-Zuma.
"And to move if they were not at home - if they were visiting somewhere and they were locked-down there - to come back home. Once they have arrived, they cannot go home on weekends. Once you come back, you come back until the end of level four."
Dlamini-Zuma's reiterated that the movement of co-parents is allowed. Also, children who've been visiting relatives can return home.
If you're going back to work on 1 May - at the end of your shift, you must head straight home. Government says it's to ensure that people who aren't part of essential services, comply with the country's daily curfew from 8pm until 5am.

"Look at the rotation of staff who are not yet on full operation. Look at arrangements involving employees who are aged 60 and over so that they are able to work from home. Look at health protocols and screen workers when they come to work and when they leave."
"Provide sanitisers in public areas and for work stations and to have arrangements in every workplace of social distancing of 1.5 metres between workers."
