"There will be a once-off allowance for people to move from the provinces they are in, to the provinces that they are going to be working in," says Dlamini-Zuma.

"And to move if they were not at home - if they were visiting somewhere and they were locked-down there - to come back home. Once they have arrived, they cannot go home on weekends. Once you come back, you come back until the end of level four."

Dlamini-Zuma's reiterated that the movement of co-parents is allowed. Also, children who've been visiting relatives can return home.

If you're going back to work on 1 May - at the end of your shift, you must head straight home. Government says it's to ensure that people who aren't part of essential services, comply with the country's daily curfew from 8pm until 5am.
